Samura Kamara, Leader of the main Opposition All Peoples Congress Party (APC) has on the 30th August 2023 joined others to grace the funeral ceremony of late Hon. James E. Laverse at Charles Street in Freetown.
The delegation incorporated a cross session of executive and general members of the APC Sierra Leoneans of all ages at the Buxon Methodist Church.
Kamara referred to the late man as a political celerity whose glory and landmarks will never be erased in the political landscape of Sierra Leone.
“Hon. Laverse is gone but his legacies and memories of him will linger for years. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”
“Pa Laverse was a beacon of fairness, integrity, and dedication. He dedicated his life to the pursuit of equality, justice, and the advancement of our community. He was a man of principle who never wavered in his commitment to transparency and accountability. His life and teachings continue to be a source of inspiration and guidance for our party and its leadership.
“We honour Pa Laverse today, not just for his contributions to our party and our country, but for his unwavering commitment to the principles that define us,” He said.
