The Eid-al-Fitri feast marks the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan with Muslims observing prayers in mosques and grounds across the country.
The feast is a significant celebration in the West African nation where about 76 per cent of the population practice the Islamic faith.
The celebrations begin with a special morning prayer at mosques and open prayer grounds. Following the prayer, families and friends gather to share festive meals, exchange gifts, and engage in communal activities.
It is customary to wear new or best attire during these gatherings. Additionally, Muslims perform acts of charity, known as ‘Zakat al-Fitr,’ to support those in need, ensuring that everyone can participate in the celebrations.

No problem , we will observe it.
