Chief Minister Dr. David Moinina Sengeh has acknowledged president Julius Maada Bio for leading the Radical Inclusion Movement, and working towards the aim and objectives of the movement.

Sengeh said that the president contributed greatly to the Radical Inclusion agenda.

“From that day to when we passed the radical inclusion policy in 2021 to the education act in 2023, to me authoring the book titled Radical Inclusion, l’ve always maintained that the vision is simply what President Bio said a few days ago. We leave no one behind in our bid to make a more just society.” He said.

On a Facebook post, President Julius Maada Bio, made public statements about the Radical Inclusion Movement which the government has implemented during his tenure. According to the president, he is working toward ensuring that no one is left behind in the continuous development initiatives of the country

“And that is what we have chosen to be inclusive. Radical Inclusion. When we put the word ‘radical’ before inclusion, it is to make sure that no one is left behind.” President Bio said.

According to Chief Minister Dr. David Moinina Sengeh, the radical inclusion is a concept that was first publicly expressed in December 2019 and is currently enshrined in national policy.

Sengeh, who happened to be the author of the book Radical Inclusion, explained how the policy, which talked about justice, equity, and access for everyone, especially in the education sector, has an impact on society.

The project encourages communities, institutions, and people to take an active role in creating a society that is more just and inclusive. “Anyone can contribute. Sengeh said that everyone has a part to play, and that nobody is left behind.

The government of Sierra Leone is inviting all facets of society to participate in shaping a future based on equality, opportunity, and dignity for all citizens as it continues to carry out reforms under the Radical Inclusion framework.
