David Moinina Sengeh, the Minister for Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE), has announced that the publication of the results for the National Primary School Examination (NPSE) will take place as scheduled.

The NPSE is a significant examination that serves as a transition from primary school to the Junior Secondary School (JSS) sector within the education system of Sierra Leone. The education structure in Sierra Leone comprises Pre-Primary school (Nursery), Primary, Junior Secondary (JSS), and Senior Secondary (SSS) levels.

Minister Sengeh has confirmed that the NPSE results will be released within the next two weeks. He expressed optimism that the results would be ready for publication during this timeframe.

The NPSE exams were conducted on May 6, 2023. With this update, parents and other stakeholders in the education sector can adequately prepare for the upcoming academic year, specifically the 2023/2024 academic year.
