The Government of Sierra Leone will lead a high-powered delegation to a series of trade and investment events in London, UK, during the week of October 13th, 2025.
The delegation will include Chief Minister David Moinina Sengeh, senior government officials, private sector leaders, and representatives from the nation’s burgeoning creative industry.
The planned mission was finalized during a recent meeting between the delegation’s lead and the British High Commissioner to Sierra Leone, H.E. Josephine Gauld, and her team. The talks focused on coordinating the agenda for the multi-event visit, which aims to showcase Sierra Leone as a prime destination for investment.
The itinerary includes several key engagements. The delegation will participate in the Sierra Leone Investment Forum on October 13th, organized by Invest Africa, to highlight specific areas of growth and opportunity within the country.
Also on October 13th, a focused event will be held at the headquarters of British International Investment (BII). This session will center on strategizing the utilization of an additional $100 million in resources BII has committed for investments in Sierra Leone.
The delegation will also take part in the two-day AFSIC conference, a major Africa-focused investment event, on October 14th and 15th.
Concluding the series of engagements, the Sierra Leone High Commission in the UK, in partnership with Vult Inc., Labrum London, and Invest Salone, will host a networking event for the Sierra Leonean diaspora, investors, and entrepreneurs in London.
The mission is designed to engage a wide range of stakeholders, including the UK private sector, the diaspora community, international investors, and leaders in the creative industry.
