During his appearance on AYV’s Wake Up Salone show on Monday morning, Minister Bah highlighted the government’s commitment to transparency by sharing all information provided by Guinean authorities with the public. Minister Bah reiterated the government’s stance against any individual seeking to damage the country’s reputation. He emphasized President Bio’s efforts to rebrand Sierra Leone and stated that the government will not tolerate any actions that undermine the progress made over the past six years.
Following the recall of the Ambassador to Guinea for further clarification on the situation, the government has initiated a thorough investigation and pledged to provide regular updates on the matter.
Minister Bah also highlighted Sierra Leone’s investment in robust border and airport security systems, which have effectively prevented drug traffickers from using the country as a transit route.
