The Minister of information and civic Education Chernor Bah has announced that the Government of Sierra Leone will hold a National Symposium on April 28, 2025, to commemorate the country’s 64th Independence Day.
The event, themed “Reclaiming the Importance of April 27,” will take place at the Hockey Pitch in Wilberforce.
The symposium is set to gather prominent Sierra Leoneans from various sectors, providing a platform to reflect on the nation’s history, culture, and development trajectory. Organizers aim to reignite national pride and enhance awareness regarding the significance of Sierra Leone’s independence.
