Eleven journalists including the Proprietor of Media One, a conglomerate of Standard Times News Paper, Star Radio and Star Tv have been arrested and detained at CID headquarters in Freetown.

The media one centre was on the early hours of Tuesday 5th October 2021 raided by armed police officers alongside staff of EDSA over alleged electricity abstraction and arrested ten of the staff.
