Health authorities have expressed deep concern over the growing number of cases and are urging the public to adhere strictly to contact precautions. In response to the rising infections, the Ministry is establishing holding and treatment centers in Hastings, Kingtom, Calaba Town, and Port Loko Town to better manage and contain the outbreak.

The National Public Health Agency reports that there are currently 1,743 active cases. In the past day, 102 new cases were confirmed, while no recoveries were recorded. The total number of recovered individuals stands at 393, and the death toll remains at 11.
