The Chairman of the Presidential Taskforce on Hajj of Sierra Leone, Alhaji Murtada Sesay and the Deputy Minister of Social Welfare of Sierra Leone, Mohamed Haji-Kella, who is also a member of the Presidential Taskforce on Hajj, are attending the third Annual Hajj and Umrah  Exhibition & Conference at Super Dome in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The 2024 conference, titled ”A Passage to Nusuk” is aimed at showcasing key services, facilities, and new procedures for the 2024/1445 annual Hajj pilgrimage to Islam’s Holiest city of Makkah.

During the conference, Alhaji Murtada Sesay is expected to sign the 2024/1445 Hajj Agreement with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

Whilst in the Kingdom, members of the Presidential Taskforce on Hajj are also expected to sign contracts for accommodation, catering and flight arrangements for this year’s pilgrims from Sierra Leone.

Sierra Leone is also represented at the conference by its Ambassador to Saudi Arabia His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim Jalloh, who is also a member of the Presidential Taskforce on Hajj,  the Embassy’s First Secretary and Acting Head of Chancery Mohamed Sulaiman Sankoh, Information Attaché Abubakarr Bah, Liaison/ICT Specialist, Mohamed Jalloh, Chernor Alieu Kanu and Alhaji Issa Konneh.
