Information Minister Chernor Bah announced the upcoming National Town Hall on Peace and National Cohesion in Sierra Leone.

The minister made this disclosure during the Ministry of Information and Civic Education weekly press conference on Tuesday 20th August 2024.

The ministry is in partnership with the United Nations Foundation to commemorate Sierra Leone’s historic presidency of the United Nations Security Council.

The Town Hall is schedule for 27th August 2024 at the New Brookfields Hotel in Freetown with the theme, “What we can do together to cultivate the culture and future of peace and cohesion in Sierra Leone?”

The Town Hall will feature high-level political leaders, traditional and religious leaders, intergenerational conversations, as well as women and youth leaders.
