About 40 high-achieving students from different high schools in Freetown and in the provinces attended a familiarization and interaction lunch with the Deputy Chief of Mission of the U.S. Embassy in Freetown, Stephanie Bunce on Friday, September 2, 2022.
The Embassy made this revelation on a social media post shared today, Tuesday 6 September 2022.
According to the U.S. Embassy in Sierra Leone, these students, who are the second cohort of the EducationUSA Scholars Program, will start their applications to various universities in the United States.
“They will be guided throughout the process by the EducationUSA Advising Center. The United States remains committed to supporting education in Sierra Leone,” the Embassy added.
