Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority has responded to the allegation of the alleged discrimination against a passenger from Sierra Leone who was denied boarding on SN Brussels flight on the basis that Sierra Leonean passport holders are not allowed to transit at Brussels Airport.
The Management of the Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority (SLCAA) in a press released issued on Monday December 4th, informed that it has contacted the Management of SN Brussels and they responded that “There is no restriction on Siena Leonean passport holders to transit in Brussels.”
The SLCAA also informed that they have contacted the passenger to get more information, adding that they will investigate the matter.
The SLCAA promised to inform the public on the outcome of the investigation.
We need this investigation because (1) SM Brussels have denied the claim and (2) never have I heard an airline or airport refused another passport holder from transiting at an airport.
