The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has concluded final discussions with Orange Sierra Leone ahead of an anticipated announcement of a major sponsorship package for the 2026 FA Cup.

The high-level meeting took place on Wednesday, 25 February 2026, at Orange’s Hill Station office in Freetown.

SLFA President Babadi Kamara led the delegation, accompanied by General Secretary Ing. Mohamed Benson Bawoh and Deputy General Secretary Ishmail Saidu Kanu Esq. They were received by Orange’s marketing team, headed by Marketing Director Abdramane Kone.

According to information from the SLFA Media Department, discussions centered on finalizing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will formalize the partnership between the two institutions. Both parties reportedly expressed commitment to ensuring coordinated and efficient implementation of the sponsorship agreement.

The proposed sponsorship package is expected to enhance the reach, profile, and overall impact of the 2026 FA Cup competition. It is also anticipated to contribute to football development initiatives, improve the tournament experience, and provide support to players, clubs, and other key stakeholders within the domestic football ecosystem.
