The Sierra Leone Police has responded to the request for clearance letter written by the opposition All People’s Congress Party to hold Meetings in the Northwest and Northeast region on Saturday the 19th November, 2022 and Sunday 20th November 2022.

This response was issued out yesterday the 15th November, 2022.

In their response to the aforementioned request, the Sierra Leone Police gave their approval to hold Meetings in Makeni and Port Loko at 1400hrs on the 19th and 20th respectively.

However, the Sierra Leone Police reminded the APC that the Road Traffic Regulations 2007 and the Public Order Act no. 46 of 1965 must characterize their program, noting that obstruction against vehicular traffic and other road users are strictly prohibited.
