The Sierra Leone Teaching Service Commission has on Monday 7 April 2025 officially ended the nationwide teacher registration, that has been going on for the past two weeks in the country.

According to the public notice made, over 98 percent of targeted schools have been reached after rigorous registration exercises across the country.

It also stated that the commission has employed all strategies and resources to ensure that all schools are covered during this process.

The SLTSC however, considered that some teachers might have been left out due to some valid reasons; therefore, it made some provisions for those that were unable to meet the deadline to contact their district TSC office with the following documents:

National identification card or any other form of identification

Professional qualification (if any)
Contact number of school head

National Social Security and Insurance Trust ID card (for payroll teachers)

Bank details (for payroll teachers)

The commission also extended the deadline for submission to Thursday, 17 April 2025.
