Sorie Bomboli Kanu Declared Elected Paramount Chief of Koya Chiefdom

Sorie Bomboli Kanu has been elected Paramount Chief of Koya Chiefdom, Port Loko District, at the Paramount Chieftaincy Election Organize by the government of Sierra Leone through the ministry of local government and rural development and the Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone, held yesterday the 10th July, 2022.

Competing against 6 candidates, Sorie Bomboli Kanu, was declared elected paramount chief after leading with 766 total number of valid votes which constitutes 64.6%.

The New Koya Paramount Chief is a graduate with a masters degree from Njala university and the son of the late paramount chief of Koya, P.C Alhaji Kompa Bomboli Kanu.
