Statistics Sierra Leone [Stats SL] conducted a successful stakeholder engagement meeting in Magazine Cut and Dovecot, in a bid to enhance publicity and awareness for the Pilot Cartographic Mapping project in Freetown East 3. This initiative, which encompasses Magazine Cut, Mountain Cut, and Dovecot, aims to lay the groundwork for a successful census.

The meeting brought together key community leaders and influencers, including:
– Mr. Osman Sesay, Chairman of Magazine Cut
– Ms. Safinatu Koroma, Chairlady of Magazine Cut
– Mr. Mohamed Alie Kamara, Chairman of Dovecot
– Mr. Abdulia Kargbo, Deputy Chair of Magazine Cut
– Mr. Mohamed Lamin Bangura, Deputy Chair of Dovecot
– Local youth leaders and other influential community members.

During the session, participants focused on the objectives and significance of the ongoing cartographic mapping exercise. All stakeholders present expressed strong support for the initiative and committed to:
