The Student’s Committee of the Lebanese International School has on the 3rd February,2024 made a donation to three institutions as part of their goodwill efforts in helping others.
The three institutions who benefitted from the donation are, the School for the blind, School for the Deaf and the Raining season children’s home at coker drive in the nation’s capital Freetown.
This according to them, is part of their plans of participating in charitable activities and donating to those in need which may inturn have students learn and maintain the zeal to recognize and empathize with the struggles and challenges faced by others who are in greater needs.
They were warmly received at each institution by the Principal of both Schools and Head Matron of the children’s home respectively. They also had a wonderful time associating with the few students on residence and the kids at the home.
Their efforts in bring smile on the faces of those needy children was greatly appreciated by not only the beneficiaries but their tutors as well, which showcased a greater step in achieving their mission and vision for which their committee was formed.
Having done the successful donation, they thanked all the students of Lebanese International School who generously contributed in order to make this goodwill donation a success as they maintained that, this will not be the end of their goodwill services in helping the needy. They made assurance of a continuous process as and when the need arises to always render helping hands to the needy.
