Senior Researcher and Independent Consultant, Dr John Idriss Lahai has disclosed that the Commissioner for the Anti-Corruption Commission, Francis Ben Kaifala, had arrogantly dismisses him when he brought the issue of the African Graduate University to his attention and requested that he investigated the matter.
According to him, Sometime in 2021 (after the award of the suspected PhD degree to the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Ambrose Sovula), he brought the issue of the African Graduate University (AGU to the attention of the ACC boss and presented his findings on their RMSL WhatsApp group to him stating that the PhD degree that was conferred on the Police Boss was fake.
He added that he went at length to explain his findings (backed by documentary evidence) that this African Graduate University was a criminal syndicate; that it was not an authentic educational institution.
Unfortunately, as he said, the ACC boss, Francis Ben Francis Ben Kaifala dismissed him with an unusual sense of pomposity and arrogance — shrouded by that talk of “don’t try to dictate my work for me”
Dr Idriss furthered that their conversation did not end well and that Commissioner Ben Kaifala took no concrete steps to investigate his claims! Since 2021.
“ I have been trying to bring to his attention that within the crop of presidential appointees (ministers, directors, and other top public servants) some are holders of fake university degrees. Our comrades of the Renaissance Movement can attest to this claim that the ACC boss dismissed me with an unusual sense of pomposity and arrogance” he stated.
He ended that, since he had left the RMSL, he cannot access the WhatsApp group to provide the evidence of his findings and stated that the ACC Boss will not deny his claims as he is a man of integrity.
