The Minister of Employment, Labour and Social Security, Mohamed Rahman Swaray, has held discussions with the Director General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Minister of Labour of Oman ahead of the 6th Session of the Islamic Conference of Labour Ministers.
The engagement aimed to strengthen bilateral relations and explore opportunities for investment and employment abroad.
Discussions centred on five key transformative initiatives, with a particular focus on job creation and securing decent employment opportunities for Sierra Leoneans overseas.

Minister Swaray’s engagements received a positive response from his counterparts, paving the way for sustainable labour and employment projects that will deliver mutual benefits.
