The Lord’s Mission Church located at 10C Upper Mellon Street, Wellington, in collaboration with Komeo International and No Boundaries International Christian Missionary has today Monday 7th November 2022, visited the Harbour Police Division.
Speaking to personnel on parade, Dr. Laury Basey commended the Harbour Police Division for the outstanding job they are doing.
She stated that the purpose of their visit as missionaries from around the world was to share the love of Jesus Christ with all mankind. And for this purpose, the word of God was preached to police personnel on parade, and Bibles were also distributed to them.
The team later proceeded to the suspects in custody where Pastor Jerome Crawford preached God’s word to them. He cited an example of himself as having once been placed in solitary confinement but God’s word saved him.
The LUC ACP Denis Musa Taylor thanked the missionaries for their profound sacrifices in ensuring that God’s word reaches all, especially those in custody, and also for the high esteem the Harbour Police Division is held.
He, therefore, encouraged personnel to be giving their best in executing their duties fairly.
The event was climaxed by the visitation of suspects in custody where food and Bibles were shared with the suspects. The suspects promised to change positively by implementing God’s word in their lives.cf
