The UBA Foundation has sent out Flyers for the Second Edition of the National Essay Competition with the topic “Environment Resilience in Sierra Leone; Identify a Critical Stakeholder and Present their Interventions for Climate Change”.
The National Essay Competition is a UBA Foundation initiative that was initiated in 2011 as part of the Foundation’s drive to improve the access to Education for the under-privilege across Africa. This year will mark the 2nd Edition of the National Essay Competition in Sierra Leone in conjunction with the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE)
The Essay Competition is open to only Senior Secondary Students who have special skills in Writing. Participants will be competing for a Star Prize of Fifty Million Leones, wherein the Second and Third place Winners will also receive Thirty Million Leones and Twenty Million Leones respectively.
Interested Candidates are expected to be Senior Secondary School Students and are expected to apply by submitting a Hand Written Essay of their own and a copy of Passport Picture through the UBA foundation Link.
Applicant must submit their complete contact information (Name, Age, School, District/Town, Address of School, Telephone Number of Parents/Guardian, Residential Address or contact number) and must attached photocopies of their original certificates.
