After a successful fundraising event organized on behalf of her medical treatment, singer Vida Green penned down an emotional message to the entertainment industry.

The singer shares how emotional she felt after the fundraising event. She stated that she has finally realized that she has got a family which is called ‘Sierra Leone Entertainment Industry’. She thanked the organizers, supporters among others that made the fundraising a huge success. She writes;

“My Dear Colleagues

What I watched moved me to tears. I couldn’t believe the support and oneness showcased.

Indeed, we are stronger when we’re united. From developing the concept, to organising it, and finally staging the concert. It gladdens my heart to know I have a family called the SIERRA LEONE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY.

Everyone in this industry made me felt loved.

Those who donated, those who performed, those who organized, those who took other key roles and to those who gave the moral support where/when necessary to make this a success, I say a big THANK YOU.

You are loved and God will bless you all enormously.

From the deepest part of my heart, I say amen to the prayers and get well soon wishes. I have strong faith to meet with y’all soonest back on the stage. May God bless us all.
