Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio has expressed his unwavering commitment to the nation, emphasizing his confidence in the public’s trust following the June 24th, 2023 elections.
In an interview with Al Jazeera TV, President Bio revealed that, he was fairly elected and that he would win again over the APC if any other election was conducted.
“Yes, and I would win again if we went to another election. I have worked hard for the country and there was evidence available even before the elections that I was going to win. The election was free fair and transparent” he stated.
President Bio said he still believed the fact that elections are contentious everywhere and that Sierra Leone’s democracy is fledging, adding that, education is the biggest weapon to transform the world and that he can focus on education to make sure that, the Sierra Leonean population gets the benefit of it.
He said education is a radical inclusion for which his government has prioritised for over five years now. He said if he could have debt relief he could pour more into education, health, and food security, as they are key to human capital development.
In the post where this newspaper announced the agreement between APC and the illegitimate Bio regime, I responded that with the stupid agreement APC agreed to, under which they got nothing, Bio was now going to be claiming he won the election. It hasn’t even been a week yet and he is already doing it.
No Bio, you did not get 55% and a run-off would have meant all the other parties would have banded together against the SLPP and you would have lost. How can you say you win but are not calling for the polling station data to be released? Crook. Five more years to run the country into the ground completely.
Let him call for a rerun if he is confidence and believe in himself. Why in the first place he refused to publish the disaggregated data for clarity of his victory? Why is he defending the ECSL ? I blamed the APC for this continued nonsense.
You look frustrated Sanusie, just wait and see after Bio five years then you will realized that you associated yourself with the wrong party.
Only a fool can vote for maada bio, maada you feel say na you win this election, well leh we go a rerun, you go see you disgrace one
