The Chairman of the Special Initiative for Climate Change, Renewable Energy, and Food Security – Dr. Kandeh Kolleh Yumkella has paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner for the National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA) Ambassador Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina at his office at Charlotte Street.

The rationale behind this is to enhance collaboration and strategic networking that are germane to the successful implementation of the Big Five Game Changers of His Excellency Dr. Julius Maada Bio.

The Commissioner in his welcomed address noted that NaCSA has strategically positioned itself to deliver the Big Five Game Changers, especially at the community level.  “… the ground is ready and NaCSA is in a hurry to implement projects that support the actualization of the Big Five Game Changers. At the Commission, delivery cannot be compromised and be rest assured that we will deliver.’’ Commissioner Noted.

Following a series of discussions on the broader theme of working together to achieve the national development framework of His Excellency Dr Julius Maada Bio, both the Commissioner and the Chairman commit “…to deliver for the people on behalf of the His Excellence Dr Julius Maada Bio”

Dr. Kandeh Kolleh Yumkella appreciated NaCSA and believed that NaCSA is strategically positioned to build the resilience of communities and the people of Sierra Leone.

“…the objective is to forge powerful alliances and collaborations with government Ministries, Departments and Agencies that can assume the lead in creating scalable and reasonably priced solutions. Institutions like NaCSA remains critical in addressing climate change, renewable energy, and food security, and we are prepared to continue our collaboration. We are united in our commitment to implementing the President’s development initiatives and share a common interest.” He said.
