Chairman for the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) in North America, Desmond Pessima has said in Bo that President Julius Maada Bio will win the June 24, 2023, Presidential election with no runoff.

He made these remarks while addressing journalists in Bo last Friday when he came to register and do voter mobilization and sensitization in the Southern region.

Chairman Pessima said that the good work of President Bio is visible in every nook and cranny of Sierra Leone, adding that Sierra Leoneans will evaluate him come June next year.

Chairman Pessima went on to outline the work of President Bio as he referred to electricity, health, Education, Youth Empowerment, Roads, Infrastructural development, and cleaning the bad image of Sierra Leone, among others.

He went further and stated that in four years and some months in office, President Bio has done remarkably well amid the global challenges his predecessors could not do.

Mr. Pessima said at the international stage, President Bio is highly respected and commended on the good things he is doing in Sierra Leone.

He noted that recently the President was at the UN Summit in New York where he projected Sierra Leone to the world.

The SLPP North America Chairman asserted that it is only the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) that is known for good governance, democracy, and bringing development to the country and on 24 June 2023, Sierra Leoneans should think about all that President Bio has done to re-elect him as President of the Republic of Sierra Leone with no run-off for him to continued serving Sierra Leoneans.

Desmond Pessima noted that he came home to register and join members of the party (SLPP) to mobilize people and embark on a robust Voter sensitization in the country, adding that what so far he has seen and heard, President Bio will be reelected come June 2023 with no run-off.
