The main opposition All Peoples Congress Party (APC) has further postponed all internal elections for the award of symbols from its initial date, 14th April, 2023.

This announcement was made in a public notice dated 13th April, 2023 that was signed by the National Secretary General, Lansana Dumbuya Esq. deferring the said elections to Monday 17th April, 2023 making a copy to the Inspector General Of Police due to the on-going voters card distribution in the country.

The notice reads;

‘’ The secretariat regrets to inform the membership of the party, executive members, aspirants for local council and member of parliament positions and the general public that the internal elections slated for Friday 14th April, 2023 has been further postponed due to the ongoing voter cards distribution exercise nationwide.

In light of that, the said elections has been deferred to hold on Monday 17th April, 2023.

The secretariat urges every registered voter to collect their voter cards. Collection period ends on Sunday 16th April, 2023.
