The All People’s Congress through its National Deputy Publicity Secretary, Mohamed Pope Kamara discloses the intention of the party to start the Internal Lower-Level Elections across the country in 2025.

He went on to disclose how the party has started  preparations for the party’s upcoming National Delegates’ Convention(NDC) which has been slated for 2026.

He claimed that now is the time after the presentation of the final Tripartite Committee report and recommendations. The party now looks to the general membership to unite and accept the reality that the 2023 elections are over and the party should move forward.

He added that since the end of the controversial 2023 general elections, there has been no progress or significant headway made by the national leadership and executive and stated that most of the party members are not receiving the necessary information and updates on the way forward, but instead, focus on only the Tripartite Committee activities, adding that the party has not lost its potential to lead the nation in 2028.

He called on all those who want to vie for positions in the party’s lower-level category, especially at ward level, to start preparing for that and that of NDC in 2026 and other upcoming party activities. Meanwhile, the APC has successfully concluded the launch of its membership registration and verification exercise across the five regions of the country. This initiative is part of the party’s planned calendar of events, geared toward addressing membership issues and database, among other things.
