Kambia district is experiencing an overwhelming sense of euphoria as the All People’s Congress (APC) Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates graced the district with their presence, officially launching the party’s campaign for the upcoming June 24 elections.

Samura Kamara, the APC Presidential Candidate, addressed the crowd, urging the people of Kambia not to fall for deceitful politics, making a reference to Kandeh Yumkella.

Kamara, emphasized his proven track record in governance and assured the people that he would never let them down if they placed their trust in him. He underscored that the economic destiny of Kambia lies in the hands of its people and encouraged them to make a decision that would improve their economic well-being.

Acknowledging the widespread economic hardships faced by Sierra Leoneans under the current SLPP government, Kamara pledged to be a president for all, working tirelessly to alleviate the suffering and uplift the nation.

He commended his running mate, Hon. Chernor Maju Bah, as a dynamic and visionary young man, affirming his ability to positively impact and transform the lives of the country’s youth.

Alimamy Petito Koroma, a prominent figure in the APC heavyweight stronghold of Kambia district, emphasized the need for peace, unity, and shared vision in the region.

He assured the crowd that Kambia would be delivered to the APC, solidifying their support for the party.

A significant moment during the campaign rally was the declaration of the Kambia district Chairman of the National Grand Coalition (NGC) for the APC. The NGC Chairman, along with a substantial number of executive members and supporters, joined forces with the APC, adding momentum and strength to their campaign.
