Former House of Stars Contestant Ibrahim Tejan Fofonah Declares for SLPP National Young Generation Leader Position

House of Stars season one ex-contestant and second runner up, Ibrahim Tejan Fofonah has today Thursday 20^th February 2025, declared his intention to run for the position of National Young Generation Council Leader under the ruling Sierra Leone People Party [SLPP].

Fofonah disclosed that he had served in different capacity of the SLPP, adding that he officially joined the SLPP around 2011-2012 to take massive role in the victory of President Julius Maada Bio as he was an highly recognized activist during that period, showing evidences of his old party membership cards and subscriptions.

According to Fofonah, he derived personal love for President Bio during the country’s civil war he was captured together with over 300 young people to be executed, but they were able to escape from captivity after they learnt about the coming of President Bio who was a military personnel by then.

Fofonah said his reason for aspiring for the above mention position is to fill the gap which he has noticed for a long time within the party, though he had contested for the member of parliament position during the 2023 elections.
