Hawa Foray has been re-elected as the National Women’s Leader of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP).
Foray secured 195 votes to defeat three other candidates at the election held in Kenema on Wednesday.
Alfreda Yeama Kassay got 56 votes, and Josephine Jackson secured 3 votes while Fatamata Sawaneh got 73 votes.
Two candidates, Gloria Agnes Lombie and Hawa Idriss, stepped down during the election process.
