Freetown, Sierra Leone, 27 October, 2023_ – In a momentous homecoming, Sheik Alhaji Mohamed “Omodu” Kamara, alias Jagaban, the esteemed philanthropist, business mogul, and influential figure within the opposition All Peoples Congress party (APC), has arrived in Sierra Leone for the first time since the “undisputed” June 24, 2023 presidential elections were declared. Leaving behind his multi-million dollar business ventures in the United States of America, Jagaban’s visit comes as a result of the recent dialogue between the APC and the Government of Sierra Leone, which successfully ended the APC lawmakers’ boycott of governance.
Jagaban’s primary objective is to infuse the APC with a renewed sense of spirit and determination, ensuring victory in the future elections. His itinerary will include visits to APC comrades across the country, where he aims to console, inspire, and motivate them during these challenging times. His message of hope will resonate strongly, assuring party members that brighter days lie ahead and that the Sun will surely shine in 2028.
Notably, Jagaban will also take the opportunity to meet with clergymen, recognizing the importance of spiritual guidance and support in the party’s journey towards success.
Furthermore, Jagaban will visit one of his most ambitious projects—the site of the APC party office building in Kono District. This endeavor showcases his commitment to the party’s infrastructure and organizational development, as he takes the honor of constructing a dedicated party office in Kono District.
In addition to his political engagements, Jagaban will also visit project sites designated for his philanthropic activities. His dedication to uplifting communities and making a positive impact is evident through these endeavors, further solidifying his reputation as a compassionate leader.
As Sheik Alhaji Mohamed “Omodu” Kamara returns to Sierra Leone, his presence will bring renewed hope, motivation, and a vision for a brighter future for the APC. With his philanthropic efforts and commitment to party development, Jagaban continues to inspire others and leave a lasting legacy in the hearts of Sierra Leoneans.
