The leader and presidential candidate of the Sierra Leone’s main opposition party, the All Peoples Congress (APC), Samura Kamara has today, Thursday 3rd August 2023 had a fruitful interaction with elected APC members of Parliament in Makeni City,  Bombali District.

Among many other things, Dr Samura Kamara expressed his deepest thanks and appreciations, on behalf of the leadership of the party, to the APC elected MPs for standing by the decision of the party to boycott participation in any level of governance including Parliament following the rouge announcement of the June 24th general elections results by the Elections Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL).

“We have to believe in the party’s decision and we must therefore trust the process. We are fighting a good but just cause in the interest of the majority of the people of Sierra Leone so as to restore democracy, rule of law, transparency and accountability, social justice and constitutionality,” Dr Samura Kamara underscored.

All APC elected MPs made their unwavering and undiluted commitment once again in the presence of the leadership of the party to collectively abiding or standing by the party’s decision until all demands put forward are accordingly addressed by the ECSL.
