Luawa Football Club in preparation for the 2022/23 Sierra Leone Premier League season on Wednesday, 5th October 2022 unveiled Coach Amidu Fofanah as the new head coach for the senior side after the club secured his service on a two-year contract.

Amidu Fofanah is a CAF License A coach, also holds a FIFA certificate in grassroots coaching and has previously served the division two side Lion Pride, Football for A New Tomorrow Sierra Leone (FANT-SL) among others.

Chief Executive Officer of Luawa FC Lawyer Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai stated that a major reason for the recruitment of Coach Amidu is due to his qualification and the club is expecting positive impacts”Luawa FC is expecting winning, discipline and development of players” he asserted
