Sierra Leone’s Brand Global Football Ambassador, Antonio Rudiger has displayed the Sierra Leone’s National flag during his official unveiling ceremony at Real Madrid Football Club.

Antonio Rudiger signed a four-year deal with Real Madrid earlier this month.

The German ended his five-year stay at Chelsea after the expiry of his contract. Rudiger has been away on international duty but has now travelled to Madrid
He passed a medical and was then presented to the media at Real Madrid City.

Antonio Rudiger has been officially unveiled as a Real Madrid player following his move from Chelsea.

The centre-back has agreed a four-year deal at the Bernabeu after leaving the Blues at the end of his contract.

Rudiger has been away on International duty with Germany so has only now been able to arrive in Madrid to be presented to the media at the club’s training complex .

Previously, on Friday 28 January 2022, President of Sierra Leone – Dr Julius Maada Bio pronounced Antonio Rüdiger as ‘Brand Global Sierra Leone Football Ambassador’ and handed him the country’s diplomatic passport, at a ceremony attended by family members, well-wishers and government officials held in State House, Freetown .

It has been revealed that Rudiger will wear number 22 at Real Madrid, which is newly vacant following ISCO’s departure for the summer.
