Robbie Lyle, founder and host of Arsenal Fan TV, has publicly criticized Air Maroc, labeling it as the worst airline service he has ever encountered.

His remarks came during his visit to Sierra Leone, where he and his crew arrived without their luggage, a mishap that disrupted their tightly packed schedule.

Lyle expressed frustration over the airline’s poor service and vowed never to use Air Maroc again. “This is the worst airline I’ve ever dealt with,” he stated, highlighting the inconvenience caused by missing luggage.

The issue of delayed and missing luggage has been a recurring complaint among Air Maroc passengers, raising concerns about the airline’s reliability. Many travelers have voiced similar grievances, calling for improvements in service delivery.

Despite the rocky start to their visit, Lyle and his team were met with a warm reception upon arrival in Sierra Leone. The hospitality extended by airport staff and government authorities provided some relief after their ordeal with the airline.

Describing Sierra Leone’s natural beauty and welcoming atmosphere, Lyle noted, “The country has been fantastic. It was the first destination on our Africa tour before COVID-19 disrupted our plans.”

Over the weekend, Lyle, alongside Arsenal legends Nwankwo Kanu and Emmanuel Eboue, hosted a football funfair that brought together fans from across Sierra Leone. The event was part of Arsenal Fan TV’s global engagement initiative, aimed at connecting with supporters around the world.

While the experience with Air Maroc left a sour taste, the vibrant football culture and the warmth of Sierra Leone’s people left a lasting positive impression on the Arsenal Fan TV crew.
