Football Association (SLFA), Babadie Kamara, accompanied by SLFA Ex-Officio Kweku Lisk, joined the global football family today at the FIFA Intercontinental Final between UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain and Copa Libertadores champions Flamengo at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in Doha, Qatar.

The match capped a week of high-level international engagement for the SLFA leadership, following FIFA Standing Committees plenary sessions held yesterday.

During the sessions, President Kamara and Mr. Lisk held constructive discussions with football icons, including FIFA President Gianni Infantino, former Arsenal coach Arsène Wenger, and former Barcelona forward and President of the Cameroonian Football Federation, Samuel Eto’o.

The officials also attended the FIFA Celebration Dinner on Tuesday evening, an exclusive gathering of FIFA executives, committee members, and key stakeholders from around the world, further strengthening Sierra Leone’s presence in the global football community.

Their participation underscores Sierra Leone football’s growing international profile and reflects the SLFA’s commitment to learning from global best practices, deepening international partnerships, and advancing the development of the game at home.
