Popular Politician and Philanthropist, Beresford Victor Williams has sent his heartfelt good luck message for the last group state match and congratulations to Leone Stars players after two good consecutive performances against Algeria and Ivory Coast in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The Sierra Leone national football team is enjoying an impressive AFCON return with two consecutive draws against Defending Champions, Algeria and African giant, Ivory Coast in their first and second group stage matches.

Leone Stars now have two points while they take on Equatorial Guinea in Thursday’s third Group E match at the Limbe Stadium. Mr Victor Williams has sent a good luck message to the Leone Starts team to outperform their opponents, as this is a must win game.

While reacting to the team performance, Mr Williams sent His congratulation to the national team Leone Stars team. He said as we have held Algeria and Ivory Coast. We should be one of the favourites to win AFCON 2021 now.

It would be recalled that Mr Williams has promised to give Le200 Million ($20,000) to each player of the Sierra Leone national team if they win the 2021 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
