Bo Rangers FC and Kallon FC, representing Sierra Leone in the CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup respectively, are set to receive $50,000 each as compensation allowances for their involvement in the preliminary qualifiers of these prestigious tournaments this year.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has recently affirmed its commitment to supporting the participating teams in the 2023-24 CAF Inter-Club competitions.
These compensation allowances, as clarified by CAF, aim to recognize and support the efforts of both teams as they navigated through the preliminary stages of the first and second tiers of the CAF Inter-Club competitions.
Notably, CAF has highlighted its intent to boost these compensations in the upcoming seasons, contingent upon the revenue garnered from television rights, partnerships, and sponsorships.
