The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced the appointment of Emilia Kamara Jengo as the Match Commissioner for Match No. 23 of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Morocco 2026 Qualifiers between Niger and Gambia.

The Sierra Leone Football association is a member of West African Football Union (WAFU), Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA). It was established in 1960 and has been the only national football governing body in the country mandated to administer and manage the running of Football.

The Association exists to improve the game of football constantly and regulate and control it throughout the territory of Sierra Leone in the light of fair play and its unifying, educational, cultural and humanitarian values, particularly through youth and development programs

The match is scheduled to take place on 19th February 2026 at the Stade Général Seyni Kountché in Niamey, Niger for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Emilia has previously served as a member of the Sierra Leone Women’s Premier League Board for two consecutive seasons. She has also been a committee member in the men’s Leone Rock Premier League, making her the first female football administrator in the Northeast region to hold such positions. Emilia is widely recognized as one of the most outstanding and dedicated female football administrators in the country in recent times.
