Sierra Leone football legend Ibrahim Junior Parade Koroma, together with Abdul Keister, former Leone Stars skipper Ibrahim Obreh Kargbo, and other ex-players joined chapters members of the Old Bo Boys Association (OBBA) and Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) on Saturday, November 19th 2022 organised a funeral service in the United Kingdom and pays tribute to the deceased Eric Lassana who was laid to rest in Bo City Southern Sierra Leone on the same day.
The late Eric Lassana served as Team Manager of the country’s senior men’s side Leone Stars and until his demise was the Technical Director of the reigning Sierra Leone Premier League champions Bo Rangers Football Club playing a vital role for the club to lift its first-ever major title.
According to NewsFeed Sierra Leone Ibrahim Junior Parade Koroma asserted that “we came together to give a final farewell to Eric, who is a strong man in the game, we decided to organise our memorial here in the UK, wherein we sing tribute songs and pray for the late man” he established.
He furthered that, the turnout was amazing, as they were also able to raise funds for the late’s man family and to show appreciation for his contribution to the game of football.
