FC Kallon lost 1-0 to Enyimba FC on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the Enyimba Stadium in Nigeria.
FC Kallon, a Freetown-based team owned by Mohamed Kallon, participated in the Coal City Int’l Preseason Tourney in Enugu with Enyimba. The highlight of the upcoming match was the reunion of Mohamed Kallon, owner of FC Kallon and former Inter Milan player, with his former teammate at Inter Milan, King Kanu ‘Papilo’ Nwankwo, who is now the boss of Enyimba. Uche Okechukwu, another ex-international and Enyimba board member, was also present at the match.
FC Kallon, also known as the Cavaliers, is a respected football club in Sierra Leone and plays their home games at the National Stadium in Freetown. Mohamed Kallon, the owner, is considered the most famous footballer from Sierra Leone.
Enyimba unveiled new players acquired in this transfer window to their fans and the media. The unveiling, led by club Chairman Kanu Nwankwo, took place on Friday, August 9, 2024, at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba at 9 am.
