Sierra Leonean footballers Emmanuel Sahr Samadia and Sulaiman KaiKai are making waves in international club football with standout performances for their respective teams.

Samadia, who plays for Hartford Athletic in the USL Championship, was named in the league’s Team of the Week after a stellar display in his team’s 2-1 victory over FC Tulsa. The versatile midfielder created four chances, including two clear scoring opportunities, while also showcasing his defensive capabilities. Samadia won both of his tackles, made three clearances, and registered seven recoveries. His accuracy on the ball was equally impressive, completing 50 of 59 passes, playing a crucial role in his team’s hard-fought win.
