Sierra Leone women’s premier league board chair, Madam Asma James is in Sydney, Australia with the SLFA president Thomas Daddy Brima to witness the 2023 women’s fifa world cup final between England and Spain.

On her arrival in Australia, James posted  on her facebook  stating that, “I am honoured to be a part of the Sierra Leone Football Association’s delegation to witness this year’s FIFA womensworldcup final.

As the former Chair of the first successful Women’s Premier League in Sierra Leone , I do take this opportunity as recognition of my stewardship and the collective achievement of my dynamic team.”

The two nations will contest the FIFA Women’s Club 2023 on Sunday (20 August) at stadium Australia in Sydney.

Spain were the first side to book their spot in the final, having won their maiden semi-final against an experienced Swedish side.
