The Sierra Leone Football Association has confirmed to the general public that the Technical Team of Leone Stars headed by John Keister has included East End Lions’ winger Prince Barrie in the squad for Sierra Leone’s upcoming FIFA-sanctioned friendlies.

The said inclusion is in replacement of Spanish-based midfielder Alhassan Koroma who cannot make the trip due to issues bothering around travelling documentation.

The prolific winger confirmed the news as he posted on his Facebook
“Have been ruled out for the upcoming friendly matches against South Africa and Dr Congo for personal reasons
I wish my Guyz all the very best Legoooooo team leone stars”

Leone Stars will play their two international friendlies against Bafana Bafana of South Africa and The Leopards of Congo DR in the upcoming FIFA Calendar dates (24th and 27th September 2022 respectively).
