English-born Sierra Leonean, Josh Koroma has expressed Delight for His Debut against Burkina Faso making his debut in the recent CAF World Cup 2026 qualifier against Burkina Faso, Koroma, with Sierra Leonean heritage, is keen to contribute to the football ambitions of his ancestral country.
Koroma came as in substitute in the 78th minute, Koroma exhibited his skills, instilling hope among Sierra Leone fans regarding his potential as a key player for the Leone Stars.
“I felt that the time was right to represent the Leone Stars,” commented Koroma upon receiving his call-up. “I have been eagerly awaiting this opportunity and am delighted to have made my debut for Sierra Leone in the memorable 2-2 draw against Burkina Faso, the 2013 Afcon Runners-up.

The sensational forward plays for Huddersfield Town and has played in the vast majority of the team’s Championship matches in 2023/2024, making 39 appearances.
