Sierra Leone National Football team, Leone Stars had an intensive training session at the Southern Arena ahead of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers against the super eagles of Nigeria on the 18th of June 2023 at the SKD stadium in Liberia.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have also called in all their top players for the clash so it will be a very interesting match.

Nigeria as the leaders of the group currently on the group will want to maintain their status to make them qualify for the Total Energies AFCON 2023.

Sierra Leone on the other hand called in their best with players like Donald Kamara, Prince Barrie, and Mohamed Kamara (Mahrez) of East End Lions.

The possibilities of Leone Stars’ qualification to the AFCON are for Leone Stars to have:

1] A win for Sierra Leone against Nigeria.

2] A win for Sao Tome against Bissau

3] A draw for Sao Tome vs Bissau and a win for Leone Stars against the Super Eagles

1] A win for Bissau against Sao Tome and a draw for Leone Stars.
