The Sierra Leone men’s national football team, Leone Stars have successfully held their first training session in Bissau.

The team will play their final Group A AFCONQ match against Guinea-Bissau on Monday, September 11.

Leone Stars have already failed to qualify for the finals next year in Ivory Coast after defeat to Nigeria earlier this year.

Both Nigeria and Guinea-Bissau are already through after finishing first and second respectively.

The Leone Stars head coach, John Keister is optimistic to build from his team’s failure to secure qualification in Africa’s premier competition. His selection, this time, has seen several new faces including Mighty Blackpool loanee, Bello Yillah and Wilberforce wonder kid, Salieu Bah.
