The Vice president (1) of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Mr. Harold Nat-Johnson, has announced four friendly matches for the Leone Stars National Team ahead of the 20201 AFCON.
He made the announcement on August 11, 20221 during a supervisory visit at the Leone Star Training Camp in Bo.
Mr. Nat-Johnson Leone stated informed Leone Star players and the SLFA Technical Team that SLFA in consultation with the National Sport Authority have agreed to participate in the second DR. Congo International Football Tournament in Kinshasa.
The Tournament, which will host Nigeria, D.R. Congo and Congo Brazzaville in Kinshasa, will last from 22nd to 25th August 2021. Leone Stars will play a friendly match against Ethiopia to complete the four friendly matches.
The Vice President (1) encouraged Leone Star payers to continue the training and to prepare for the AFCON, adding that the Team should work together in order to produce good performance in Cameroon. Mr. Nat-Johnson thanked the Team Manager, Babadi Kamara, for his contribution in transforming the National Football Team.
Preparing for the AFCON in Cameroon, Leone Stars, home-based players are camped in Bo Rangers House Club in Bo where they train. Leone Stars is set to go to Cameroon to continue the AFCON campaign following a winning against Benin.
